Hospice/Prison Partnership: End-of-Life Care at the Maine State Prison
On April 11th, the Maine Hospice Council and Center for End-of-Life Care will be hosting the Quarterly Education Meeting at the Maine State Prison from 9:00am – 3:00pm. The cost for the day will be $25.00. All must register by April 4th due to security measures. If you do not register by April 4th, we unfortunately will not be able to have you join us for this extremely important day.
Agenda for the Day
9:00 – 9:30am: Introductions and Welcome by Kandyce Powell & Warden Patricia Barnhart
9:45 – 10am: Segments of “Serving Life” video
10:00am – 12:00pm : Panels (of Maine State Prison Hospice Volunteers and MHC Hospice Volunteers)
12:00 – 1:00pm: Lunch
1:00 – 3:00pm: Interactive Discussion with Hospice Chaplains
