About the Ride:
Dan R. Michaud of Topsham, Maine, was a dedicated husband, father of four children, and only 32 years of age when he lost his long and painful battle with cancer.
The Dan Michaud Memorial Ride continues to be supported by his friends at the Merrymeeting Wheelers Bicycle Club, who ride to increase awareness about the indiscriminate nature of cancer and to support organizations dedicated to improving care for terminally ill people, their families, friends, and caregivers.
Entry Fee is $25.00 per rider and a minimum donation of $100, which can be obtained through pledges from family, friends and coworkers. This year, we will be offering student rates as well ($40 to ride, no pledges needed) and we will be introducing a “tike & bike” for the little ones. More information to come in 2012!
