The Maine Hospice Council & Center for End-of-Life Care, along with its partner, the Togus VA Medical Center, work to hold a conference each year addressing the needs of veterans at end-of-life. Our hope is education veterans, family members, their caregivers and healthcare professions to the unique situations and needs that are present in the lives of veterans and their families to provide a more peaceful transition at the end-of-life.
There is currently a conference in the planning stages for the winter for 2012 (December 7th to be exact). More information will be posted as it becomes available.
